Craig Phang Sang was born in Port Antonio, on the North East coast of Jamaica. An avid Photographer for many years, Craig's intention is to share not only his art, but to stimulate positive thoughts and emotions by capturing images from his unique perspective of seeking out inspiring people and situations as his subjects.

Specializing initially in Black & White Photography, his images tell the stories of the spirit of his subjects. Whether through the laughing eyes of little boys sharing a secret or the silent grace of a country woman in prayer, his body of works captures the raw beauty of his people and the Jamaican landscape, in stark contrast to the background of the harsh socio- economic environment.

Craig matured from the vast creative background of Radio / Television / Motion Picture Production to use Photography as an outlet to again express a long simmering creativity through his Gritty Style of Black & White imagery.

Then demand for variations of his artistic works was required to satisfy the demands of an ever changing and dynamic audience for new and different artistic expressions. this is where he rose to the challenge and added acrylic painted works, digital painting, ink on water color paper, mixed media of endless combinations, all with the view of creating new and different artistic experiences on small to super large custom sized formats and from the beautifully known to the most extra ordinary substrates.

Passionate Art has become Craig's obsession - to capture and preserve in time, imagery from his ever evolving imagination or from the natural beauty of the social and geographical landscape, the indomitable spirit of peoples, places and things that cross his path and also the hope and love that resides in our hearts.
